Health History Review
Our Health History Review service provides educational guidance to help veterans better understand how their medical history may be viewed within the VA disability process.
Veterans may choose to share medical records they believe are relevant, such as DBQs, independent medical reviews, or personal health documentation. We review these materials for educational purposes and help explain how the VA commonly considers different types of medical information during the disability evaluation process.
This review is intended to help veterans become more informed about their records and understand general considerations that may be relevant as they prepare to move forward. Based on this educational review, we may discuss general options and common paths veterans often consider within the VA disability system, helping them better understand how their information may fit into the broader process. Veterans remain fully in control of any decisions about what, if anything, they choose to pursue, and how they proceed within the VA disability process.

Document Preparation Support
Our Document Preparation Support service helps veterans understand, organize, and prepare written materials commonly included in the VA disability process.
We provide education on lay statements and help veterans clearly express their experiences in their own words. Based on information the veteran chooses to share, we assist by transcribing their statements into a clear, organized format commonly used for lay evidence. Drafts are always returned to the veteran for review, edits, and approval to ensure accuracy and authenticity.
Once finalized by the veteran, we help format the document appropriately and return it to them for their records and submission as they see fit.
In addition, we provide educational guidance on other types of supporting documentation veterans often include, such as Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs), nexus letters, and relevant records. This guidance is intended to help veterans understand what these documents are and how they are commonly used within the VA disability process.
Veterans remain fully in control of all content, decisions, and submissions throughout this process.
Claims Education, Guidance & Preparation Coaching
Our Claims Education, Guidance & Preparation Coaching service is designed to help veterans understand the VA disability claims process and feel prepared as they move forward on their own.
We provide an educational review of service history and documentation, paired with preparation coaching and guidance to help veterans understand how the VA disability process evaluates different types of conditions and what general options may be available to consider. Veterans decide what, if anything, they choose to pursue and how they wish to proceed.
When a veteran is ready to file, we offer real-time, educational preparation coaching during the filing process. Veterans complete and submit their claims themselves, while we provide process-focused guidance to help them understand the steps, forms, and common questions involved.
After filing, we remain available to answer questions and provide educational support as veterans move through the VA disability process and receive routine communications.
We also provide preparation coaching related to Compensation & Pension (C&P) exams. Prior to an exam, we help veterans understand what to expect during the examination process, the general purpose of these exams, and common areas of confusion or misunderstanding veterans often encounter during exams. This preparation focuses on education and expectations and does not include medical advice or coaching on what to say during an examination.
Throughout this service, veterans remain fully in control of their claims, decisions, and interactions with the Department of Veterans Affairs.

Ongoing Support
Our Ongoing Support service provides continued guidance and education to help veterans understand VA communications and next steps at each stage of the process.
After a VA decision is issued, we help veterans review and understand the contents of the decision letter, including how determinations are presented and what information the VA considered. This educational review is intended to help veterans better understand the decision and become familiar with common areas veterans often examine when reviewing VA determinations.
We also provide general education on options veterans often consider following a decision, such as learning more about additional claims or future filing pathways within the VA disability system. These discussions are informational in nature and are designed to help veterans understand the process so they can decide how they wish to proceed.
Based on the veteran’s choices, we continue to provide education, preparation coaching, and support as they move forward through subsequent stages of the VA disability process. Veterans remain fully in control of all decisions and actions at every stage.
